As per a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman! Apple may change the Siri trigger command from “Hey Siri” to Just “Siri ”. Yes, you heard that right. Removing “Hey” from the triggering phrase from Siri will make it easier for the users to give commands to Siri or simply trigger it. With that being said, this may look like a pretty tiny change, but it requires a lot of Ai training and engineering as Siri is prone to false triggers, said the report. Furthermore, the report added that the Cupertino Giant may roll out this change to its voice assistant either in 2023 or 2024. Also, the company is said to be working on incorporating Siri into third-party apps and services for better assistance to users. The removal of the Hey from the trigger word will speed up the back-to-back request. Not long ago, Apple made some changes to Siri on its Apple TV, which was a part of completely Redesigning the User interface of the Apple TV with the Apple TVOS 16.1 update. As for redesigning the User Interface of Apple TV. users will be able to match their voices and search for movies, series, etc., and by using the Siri remote and asking ‘What series should I watch?’ will get them custom results. Siri’s redesign also makes it easy for users to search without leaving whatever is on screen. Lastly, Apple added a new voice to Siri, which was recorded by a member of the LGBTQ+ community introducing a new sound to trigger Siri. What do you think of this change?
